Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor/Project Manager

At Bellrock Property and Facilities Management, we're committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a Senior Building Surveyor/Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in leading our team to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage instructions and projects with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collate and write reports that provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members to help them grow professionally.
  • Contribute to the team's skill base by developing efficient working practices.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to understand and fulfill client needs.
  • Manage client projects and identify opportunities for new client development.
  • Produce tender documents, including specifications, preambles, and preliminaries using NBS or similar packages.
  • Identify risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Produce management reports and communicate progress and forecasts to the client team.
  • Attend sites, internal, and external client-facing meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation affecting the properties managed by our clients.
  • Assist in promoting sustainable thinking to our clients and integrate sustainable practices into our projects.

Requirements:

  • Fully Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience or a Building Surveying degree from a UK university accredited by the RICS.
  • Experience in dilapidations, technical due diligence surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned maintenance schedules.
  • Demonstrable experience in party wall and neighborly advice, writing building condition reports, and schedules of condition.
  • Solid understanding and experience in building reinstatement cost assessments and advising owners and occupiers on maintenance and statutory responsibilities.
  • Contract administration and proficiency in AutoCAD with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Full clean driving license.

Working Arrangements:

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to work from our London, Paddington office and remotely from home. This role requires two days of on-site work with the team and the remaining days can be worked from home.
