About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Materials Engineer to join our team at Aerocontact. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical generators.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical guidance on materials and process matters to ensure production line continuity.
  2. Support R&D and R&T projects by conducting in-depth material investigations and analysis.
  3. Improve reliability and cost effectiveness in future motor and generator designs.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure optimal solutions are provided.
  5. Maintain and update material and process specifications in line with the latest technology.
  6. Coach and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of materials science and electrical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with materials analysis and testing.
