About the Role:

As a Junior Furniture Consultant (Procurement) at JaK Consultancy, you will be responsible for working in a fast-paced, collaborative sales environment. You will require experience in the commercial interiors industry, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate project quotations and assist with product specification.
  • Source and research solutions for specific project needs, communicate with manufacturers about product specifications and pricing.
  • Support the sales team with information, prices, and mock-up details for new clients, collect fabric samples for projects.
  • Ensure order accuracy in coordination with the administrative team and attend industry events and trade shows to stay updated on the latest trends.
  • Research new manufacturers for product specifications and support the sales team by attending client meetings.
  • Participate in internal and external training on sustainability and product circularity.

Project Management:

  • Manage project meetings and documentation independently, track budgets and timelines, and coordinate deliveries with dealers or end-users.
  • Conduct site surveys, manage installation teams and oversee their work on-site, and address customer issues, including snagging and shortages.
  • Develop strong technical knowledge of client products.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in the furniture industry is preferred, with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn on the job and work both independently and in a team, effective time management and initiative.
  • Calm demeanour in high-pressure situations and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CAD drawings.
