Technical Maintenance Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity as a Technical Maintenance Specialist at BioTalent, a leading innovative healthcare company committed to delivering top-quality treatments with a growing portfolio.
You will play a vital role in supporting reactive and proactive maintenance activities and contributing to new installations/projects across the site.
You will work rotating shifts Monday – Sunday, 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 and be eligible for overtime at premium rates of pay. Estimated salary is £50,000-£60,000 per annum.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to planned and preventative maintenance procedures
- Escalating issues when necessary to mitigate risks
- Ensuring equipment complies with GMP, GDP, and EHS regulatory standards
- Solving technical issues using root cause analysis and striving to continuously improve engineering systems and processes
Requirements include:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within a highly regulated environment
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Maintenance and calibration experience
- HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering
