About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Orbis Education and Care. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with autism, promoting their independence and well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bespoke care and support to individuals, including record-keeping and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional needs of our residents are met through a supportive and caring approach.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting independence through various activities and initiatives.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with our residents and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
