About the Role

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a Business Technology Partner to deliver strategic input and project management for innovation and technology initiatives. This is a hybrid role with a mix of home and office working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Business Technology Partner function for the organisation
  • Provide input to Corporate Service Reform and Transformation initiatives, such as hardware refresh and Mobile Working
  • Strategic input and project management for all innovation and technology initiatives, from proposal submission to project completion
  • Strategic input and project management for all Data initiatives, including innovation, integration, analytics, 3D and Property
  • Collaborate with SIIT and ICT providers to determine suitable options for ICT innovation projects and identify opportunities to deliver technical efficiencies
  • Production of Strategic Business Cases and management of all requests to SIIT for technical projects
  • Strategic and operational engagement, including forums with external organisations
  • Monitor performance of ICT operational service delivery and co-ordinate issue resolution
  • Represent the organisation on matters of Corporate ICT and data governance, including information security, risk management and audit
  • Provide executive ICT reports as required
  • Advise Senior Managers on technical contractual obligations and opportunities for delivering efficiencies using technology
  • Manage ICT training plan for the organisation's staff, mapped to corporate initiatives
  • Oversee technical procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies
