Biomedical Assistant

Oxford Biomedica is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Support Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Waste Management: Remove and decontaminate clinical waste from laboratory suites, ensuring a compliant working environment.
• Stock Control: Maintain consumable stock levels for laboratories, ensuring timely ordering and inventory management.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean laboratories and associated equipment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• A minimum of GCSE grade 4-9 in English and Mathematics or equivalent level.
• A good standard of English both written and spoken.
• The ability to follow standard operating procedures.
