We are seeking a seasoned Windows Automation Consultant to join our team at Next Ventures. As a global brand, we specialize in building bespoke IT solutions for clients across multiple industries.

We are embarking on a new project with a key partner and require a skilled Windows Automation DevOps Consultant to work on the design, development of the infrastructure automation.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that will continue to support critical projects with your expertise. You will work alongside colleagues across automation and cross-functional teams to implement correct principles.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing infrastructure automation solutions
  • Applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Developing and managing automation scripts/tools using Packer, Ansible, and other similar tools
  • Maintaining and optimizing the Windows server environment
  • Influencing technical direction and providing support to junior colleagues on the project

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
  • Strong experience as a DevOps/Automation Engineer
  • Expertise in Windows server environments (2019, 2022)
  • Knowledge of automation scripting/tools such as Packer, Ansible
  • A strong team work ethic, working closely with colleagues to manage and achieve deadlines

This role is considered high-priority due to the start of a new, exciting, and long-term project. You will be a key influencer within the project, and your experience within Windows/DevOps & Automation will be the necessary addition to achieve success.
