Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Educator to join our team at a secondary school in Liskeard. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students, assessing their progress, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
• Participate in department meetings, training, and school activities.
• Contribute to the development of Maths curriculum and resources.
• Ensure that all students are motivated and challenged to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant degree in Maths or a related subject.
• A passion for teaching Maths and a commitment to raising student expectations and achievements.
• Experience of teaching Maths at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable).
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and the ability to contribute to the school's improvement journey.
