Job Title: Production Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for supply chain management and manufacturing operations? We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Loom Talent.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a Production Manager to oversee the demand and forecasting requirements of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for managing material forecasting, product flow, inbound, on-site inventory, and key suppliers. Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will enable you to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts by analyzing market trends, historical data, and inventory levels.
  • Oversee and optimize raw material inventory levels on-site to ensure a smooth manufacturing flow.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for product quotations, queries, quality issues, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within the end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain process, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment for a minimum of 5+ years.
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry and supply chain management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work within complex projects and datasets.
  • Excellent communication and organizational negotiation skills.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
