Warehouse Operative - Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Amesbury Depot. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for manually picking milk into trolleys, moving them, and emptying across the chill, packing milk cartons into cardboard boxes, loading and unloading inbound and outbound deliveries, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order picking using voice technology
  • Operating chill trolley packers and chill shrink wrappers
  • Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound vehicles
  • Stock rotation
  • Date code checking
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy skills
  • A positive thinking and self-motivated individual
  • An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
