Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN Primary School in Bedford. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to reach their full potential.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with class Teachers to prepare resources and deliver personalized learning plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Under the supervision of the class Teacher, you will provide one-to-one support to students, focusing on skills-based learning and progress tracking.
  • With a focus on student wellbeing, you will contribute to creating a supportive environment that encourages engagement and independence.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths. Experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential. You should possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, as well as initiative to take proactive actions.

Additional Information:

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future. All applicants will undergo relevant safeguarding checks, including a DBS check, as part of our commitment to protecting children's welfare.

The salary for this role is £90-£100 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. We offer free child protection training to all registered candidates, ensuring they are equipped to make a positive impact in this role.
