Corporate Tax Advisory Manager

We are seeking a talented Senior Manager to join our Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance (CTAC) team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to our clients, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with them.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of technically excellent advice, including tax structuring, refinancing, and compliance work. You will also work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions to help them achieve their commercial objectives.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the successful delivery of tax advisory projects, including tax structuring, refinancing, and compliance work
- Working closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions to help them achieve their commercial objectives
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and understanding their business in order to create opportunities to help with the provision of tax and other services
- Managing proposals for new work, including delivering tender documents and presenting at client pitches
- Seeking out and pursuing opportunities with targets and actively participating and supporting Directors and Partners in business development activities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in corporate tax and accounting, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also need to be able to develop, coach, and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholders. Additionally, you will need to be proactive in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the long-term benefit of both KPMG and the client.
Some of the key requirements for this role include:
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge
- Ability to develop, coach, and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Well-developed analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
- Pro-active in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the long-term benefit of both KPMG and the client
