About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join our team at Concurrent Technologies Plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our existing product lines, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Re-design legacy products to meet evolving customer requirements, ensuring all original specifications are met.
  • Develop and implement schematic and PCB designs, leveraging the latest technologies to extend product lifecycles.
  • Identify and report technical issues, providing timely solutions to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement obsolescence management strategies.
  • Conduct design reviews, ensuring all design requirements are met and products are delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • MEng/MSc/BEng in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronic engineering, with a focus on high-speed digital circuit design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with PC motherboard architecture, including microprocessors, PCI Express, Ethernet, and DDR4 Memory.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic devices or FPGA.
  • Understanding of embedded software principles.
  • Experience with Intel or ARM chipsets.
