Imettle Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Process Management: Assist in the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, key suppliers, and negotiate purchasing agreements.
- Procurement Policy and Compliance: Aid in maintaining policy and adhering to code of Virginia standards for procurement.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Utilize strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Education and Experience: Proven work experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of account payables and account receivables processes.
- Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of state and federal procurement policies, purchasing strategies, and electronic procurement systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage own time and work.
- Purchasing Strategies: Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies and a solid understanding of purchasing and invoicing systems.
- Contract Review: A good understanding of reviewing contracts and MOUs.
