Our client, a leading food business, is seeking a driven and ambitious QA Manager to join their team. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace, they require someone to oversee the quality, safety, legality, and integrity of their product range.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce factory-related QMS policies through regular audits and coaching sessions.
- Manage and mentor Quality Assurance Assistants, providing guidance and support.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and communicate resolutions in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement preventive measures from factory, internal, and third-party audit findings.
- Document, communicate, and investigate non-conforming materials, including raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Coordinate with the Pest Control Provider to maintain documentation and plan corrective actions from site visits.
- Maintain and test physical traceability systems in warehouse and factory environments to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure calibration and availability of analytical equipment for product and environmental tests, managing repairs and replacements as needed.
- Complete scheduled validation activities, including CCP, pre-requisites, and allergen management.
