About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in Warwickshire. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for supporting the design process, creating high-quality drawings, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of design concepts, sketches, and presentations
  • Produce accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to develop and refine design ideas
  • Conduct research and gather information to support design decisions
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of building regulations and planning policies
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience as an Architectural Assistant or equivalent role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of building regulations and planning policies
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and proactive attitude
