Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Total Resourcing Ltd. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects across various phases, from FEED to commissioning, and will work closely with operational engineering multi-disciplines teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and manage technical studies related to mechanical handling, powder technologies, and other mechanical processes.
  • Design mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support.
  • Develop and implement technical specifications, documentation review from supply chain, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with other experts within the business to drive technical innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree, plus a minimum of 5 years' experience working on UK nuclear sites.
  • Member of relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering design, team management, and technical studies delivery in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors.
  • Recognised Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience of delivering projects for Sellafield or Magnox sites (desirable).
