IC Resources is collaborating with a renowned company in the field of telecommunications and defence to recruit a skilled Freelance Senior RF Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will be based in Cambridge, UK.

This innovative company develops a range of products, including specialized devices and large-scale equipment for various industries.

The Role:
  • This role involves designing RF/mmW components and systems from concept to implementation.
  • Hybrid work arrangements are available, allowing for flexibility between working from home and the office in Cambridge.
  • This opportunity is outside of IR35 regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree in RF/Communications Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with RF design tools such as Microwave Office, CST, EMPro, and ADS is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in microwave circuit/system design, including line-up analysis, tolerance/yield analysis, and DFM.
  • Demonstrable experience in transceiver product design is highly desirable.
  • Verification and validation of designs, preparing test specifications, reports, and reliability testing are also key responsibilities.
