Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Vision for Education - Bristol Full time

Support the educational needs of Primary and SEND settings across South Gloucestershire and Bristol as a trusted education specialist.

We collaborate with Primary Schools in South Gloucester as their go-to provider for temporary, permanent, and cover needs for teaching and support staff. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, during term time only, with a preference for full-time roles but part-time supply positions also available.

Your daily responsibilities include adapting to the needs of pupils and working closely with them to make their time in school as productive and enjoyable as possible. Your primary goal is to provide support to these pupils and prevent them from displaying any triggers or signs of distress.

The schools we work with prioritize inclusivity and diversity, making their students' needs central to everything they do. They strive to create a welcoming environment where every individual feels valued and actively involved.

To be considered for the role of Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you must have:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last two years.

Vision for Education is a leading education recruitment and supply agency committed to the educational growth and development of young people.

As a valued member of Vision for Education, you will benefit from:

  • Competitive daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
  • Pension contributions (subject to a qualifying period).
  • Free training opportunities to enhance your professional skills, including Team Teach training, online webinars, and safeguarding and child protection updates.
  • A generous refer-a-friend or colleague bonus scheme.

Vision for Education promotes equality and welcomes applications from all segments of the community.
