About the Role:
CV Library is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking main contractor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, with a focus on office fit-outs and Cat B fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Health and Safety on site, conducting daily audits and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Produce daily site reports, highlighting progress and any issues that need attention.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet the required standards and deadlines.
- Have a strong understanding of M&E services and be able to manage their installation and coordination on site.
- Manage drawing information on site, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Review subcontractor RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Report on programme progress, highlighting any delays or issues that need attention.
- Coordinate multiple trades on site, including M&E, construction, and specialist services.
- Liaise effectively with project managers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Be client-facing, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
- Interface with project management systems, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the necessary information.
Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- First aid training.
- Construction qualifications, ideally NVQ level 6.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction site management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project, as well as SharePoint.
