About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of an efficient radiology service, ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Engage with a transformational leadership approach, working collaboratively with colleagues to drive service improvement and excellence.
  • Work as part of a professional radiography team, providing a high-quality diagnostic service that meets the needs of our patients.
  • Maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients, ensuring that they receive a positive and respectful experience.
  • Develop and improve professional expertise through continuous professional development (CPD), staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues and student radiographers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR (D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of general x-ray techniques.
  • Experience of working unsupervised out of hours.
  • Experience of training staff and students.
  • Awareness of clinical governance issues in relation to patient care.
