About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team at Ganymede Solutions. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the interiors of an operational train fleet are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine checks and repairs on train interiors, including seating, windows, table trays, toilets, hand dryers, baby change areas, and more.
  • Conduct quality inspections, basic mechanical fitting, general maintenance, and graffiti removal, ensuring all fixtures are presentable and safe.
  • Manage inventory levels for tools and materials, reporting any shortages.
  • Act as the first responder for faults or damages, carrying out repairs and ensuring all tasks meet high safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Receive full training and competency assessments to excel in your role.
