Aspire People are seeking a skilled and passionate Academic Physicist to join a well-regarded secondary school in Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to inspire the next generation of scientists and contribute to a thriving science department.

About the Job:

This full-time, long-term contract will involve teaching Physics to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will design and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to the varying needs of students, regularly assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Physics to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or events, to further promote student interest in Physics.

The ideal candidate should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Physics or a closely related subject, experience teaching Physics at secondary school level (ideally Key Stage 3 and 4), passion for Physics, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
