  • A rapidly expanding business based in the Derry City area are seeking a Company Accountant to join their finance team.

Salary:

£45,000 (Negotiable)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Company Accountant to oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function and be involved in some exciting projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
  2. Preparation of year-end accounts
  3. Balance sheet reconciliations
  4. Statutory returns
  5. Budgeting/forecasting
  6. Financial analysis
  7. Liaising with auditors
  8. Driving process improvement across the finance function

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
