We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for surgery and anaesthesia to join our dynamic team at Moorview Referrals on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Role Summary

  • As a Surgical Referral Nurse, you will take on a key role in surgical preparation, managing instruments and kits, and assisting with anaesthesia across a diverse caseload, including orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing instruments and kits for surgical procedures.
  • Assisting with anaesthesia across a diverse caseload, including orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures.
  • Participating in imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT, and MRI.

Working Hours and Conditions

  • This full-time position consists of 40 hours per week and offers a variety of shifts, with start times as early as 8:00 AM and finish times as late as 8:00 PM.
  • The role also involves a 1:5 weekend rotation, working two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Following the weekend shifts there will be TOIL during the week.
