Job Title: Senior Financial Strategist

About the Role:
This senior financial strategist will contribute to long-term financial decisions, reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Duties:
  • Lead the finance function within the UK, providing strategic advice and recommendations to the UK Leadership team.
  • Provide guidance on financial matters, including risk identification and opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Responsible for UK financial reporting, performance analysis, compliance, and regulation.
  • Analyse trends, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting.
  • Manage treasury activities, including required reporting to financiers.
  • Support cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and tax planning to drive the Company's financial strategy and performance.
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts for the UK.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance efforts, including tax treasury operations.
  • Implement finance policies and procedures in the UK, in accordance with Group policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Post-graduate accounting or finance qualification.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strategic and analytical skills to contribute to business strategy and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, such as external financiers, investors, and boards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions.
  • Commercial acumen skills to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain a NSV Security Check.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum.
