Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Harlow, Essex. The position offers a flexible work schedule of 4 to 5 days per week, with negotiable shift times. Accommodation is available if needed. Participation in out-of-hours (OOH) duties would be welcomed, but it is not a requirement for the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking for a supportive environment with flexibility in shift patterns and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal cases, including both routine and emergency work.
  • Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as required.
  • Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients.
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
  • Participate in out-of-hours duties, if willing, to assist with emergency cases.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Strong clinical skills in both medicine and surgery.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to contribute to OOH shifts is a plus, but not required.
