Financial Controller Opportunity

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our expanding and dynamic company. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial operations.

Job Purpose:
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the finance team.
  • Manage all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Duties:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish effective financial processes and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, permit, and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee financial control activities, including review and analysis of financial data.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive financial information to support executive decision-making.
  • Summarize budget trends, analyze deficiencies, and report variances to executives.
  • Support external auditors with documentation and information.
  • Manage tax preparation duties or liaise with external tax accountants.
Requirements:
  • Practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
  • Experience in scaling organizations in SaaS or similar industries.
  • Solid experience in standard accountancy and finance best practices.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in accounting packages.
  • Qualifications in ACCA or CIMA, with a strong understanding of tax codes and laws.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze financial reports.
  • Lived experience of change management within an organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
