Job Opportunity: Site Manager for Lightweight Steel Frame Apartments
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 32-apartment project in a Manchester-based client's development. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed at least one similar project in the past 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a 5-storey Lightweight Steel Frame build from start to finish.
- Oversee a team of construction professionals to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
Requirements:
- Recent experience managing a Lightweight Steel Frame apartment project from start to finish.
- NVQ in Site Management (desirable but not essential if you have significant relevant experience).
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- First Aid Certification.
What We Offer:
- Salary: Up to £56,000 per year + £4,000 car allowance.
- Annual Leave: 33 days including 8 bank holidays.
- Pension: 5% company pension contribution.
- Hours: 40-hour work week.
