Civil Engineering Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd in their Northampton office.

Based in the South Midlands region, you will work alongside the production team to ensure contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects.

With exposure to the full project life cycle, from initial enquiry through to project delivery, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects relating to the projects while achieving the highest standards to maintain the company's strong reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage commercial aspects of projects including estimating, tendering, and contract administration
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and within-budget project completion
  4. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering project management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  1. GCSEs minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Maths and English
  2. Minimum 4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor and/or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
  3. Experience working on residential groundwork schemes
  4. General knowledge of contractual terms within construction
  5. Excellent PC skills, particularly Excel

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including car or car allowance (£660 per month), discretionary bonus, 23 days holiday (plus 1 per year for 3 years, +1 after 5 years, +1 after 10 years, up to a maximum of 28) + bank holidays, buy and sell holiday scheme, death in service *2 annual salary, and pension employer 3.5.
