Job Title: Bid Writer

Our client, a leading Main Contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Bid Writer to join their team. As a key member of the Pre-Construction Department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing winning bid strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend client team tender presentations and site visits, utilizing MS Teams and in-person interactions as required.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and agree upon winning bid strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage Bid Launch meetings, ensuring timely delivery of bid submission schedules and responsibility matrices.
  • Develop and coordinate Quality/Technical answer plans, working closely with selected Bid Writers and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Mock evaluate initial DRAFT Quality/Technical responses, providing structured feedback and direction against client elevation criteria.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external supply chain, design teams, and relevant subject matter experts to prepare optimum submissions.
  • Prepare Tender presentations and bid information to support Tender interviews.
  • Develop project and company Case Studies and Bid Library to enhance future Tender and PQQ submissions.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in a Construction-related or Marketing course.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent creative writing skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
