Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections and ensuring that all tests are carried out to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advise customers on the outcome of their tests and provide recommendations for any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tests and inspections.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant MOT testing qualification and experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and inspection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence.
