A globally recognized manufacturing organization, James Walker & Co Ltd, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join its HR team at the Cockermouth Manufacturing Business Unit in Cumbria.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on all areas of Employment Law to safeguard the business from litigation.
- Supporting the organization of recruitment activities, including the development of job adverts, advising on best practice assessment tools/techniques, coordinating the assessment process, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Delivering HR Inductions to new joiners to the business.
- Assisting the wider HR Team in delivering the HR People Strategy agenda by engaging in project work.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives to improve engagement levels and business performance.
- Coordinating and submitting accurate payroll data, investigating and responding to payroll queries.
About the Role: This is a permanent full-time position that requires experience of working in a busy HR Department, preferably within a unionized manufacturing organization. You will hold excellent planning and organizational skills.
