About the Role:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a newly opened office in Nottingham, overseeing hands-on quantity surveying duties and staff management responsibilities.
  • Drive business development initiatives to secure new clients and projects, capitalizing on the company's strong reputation in the built environment sector.
  • Pursue growth opportunities, collaborating with the Director to identify strategic objectives and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead pre- and post-contract quantity surveying activities, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain top talent, fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Identify and pursue lucrative business opportunities, leveraging professional networks and relationships.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships, providing regular progress reports and engaging in proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop and implement effective hiring strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and technologies, including those related to quantity surveying and project management.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers a range of benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, car allowance, and in-house training opportunities.
