About the Role

MJM Industrial Ltd is seeking an experienced Laundry Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing plant, building, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize equipment and processes.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs to ensure efficient laundry operations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pressure systems (steam) is a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable work style, with ability to work shifts (including evenings and weekends) as needed.
  • Prior laundry experience is a plus, but not essential.
