Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Programme and Cost Manager to join our Programme Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective cost management services to our clients across various sectors.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cost management strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Manage and administer contracts, including pre-qualification stages, tender analysis, and final account negotiations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Lead and develop junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed estimates and cost plans for projects, utilising relevant tools and services.
  • Manage and coordinate tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification stages and tender reports.
  • Develop and implement value engineering initiatives to improve project outcomes.
  • Produce and present regular project updates and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Chartered status (RICS, ACostE, or equivalent) or working towards it.
  • Substantial experience in cost management within the build construction arena, preferably in property and real estate sectors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and best practices.

What We Offer
