About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading national law firm, Clarke Willmott LLP. Our team is highly regarded in the sector, and we are looking for someone with a strong interest in social housing and a talent for delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defend housing conditions claims, both pre-litigation and litigated files, with minimal supervision
  • Develop and foster relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Prepare witness statements for use at trial and draft pleadings
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver an excellent level of service to our clients

Requirements

  • Strong interest in social housing and a talent for delivering excellent client service
  • Experience of managing housing conditions claims, either in-house or in private practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people
  • Ability to use your initiative and be a forward-planner, anticipating your clients' needs in advance wherever possible
