We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Assistant to join our team at Northwood Homecare. As a Homecare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their own homes. This is a full-time or part-time position, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work independently from the comfort of your vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with varying needs. You will be responsible for providing personal care, managing schedules, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery. In return, you can expect competitive compensation, shift premiums, and a guarantee of 80 hours bi-weekly, as well as a comprehensive pension and benefits package.

Key qualifications include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a Continuing Care Assistant Provincial Certificate/PSW. International students in Canada with a nursing degree, nursing/LPN students currently enrolled in a program, and students of the Continuing Care Assistant Program (CCA) who are about to complete the program may also apply. A recent graduate of a CCA program or current PLAR candidate is preferred.

Successful candidates will be available to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with an estimated annual salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experience and location.
