  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

  • Utilize initiative and flexibility to react to change quickly and effectively.

Objectives for the Role:

  • Adhere to service processes, following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out warranty repairs, following manufacturer processes.
  • Deliver work on time and to a high standard, managing individual workload and prioritizing tasks.
  • Analyze data, understand simple mechanical and electrical faults, and conclude on how to rectify these issues.
  • Ensure continuous development to work on changing products and stay up-to-date with a changing market.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of departmental demands.
  • Utilize strong time management and organizational skills to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Provide concise and legible write-ups of work carried out.
  • Be willing and able to develop in line with manufacturer-supported training.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving license and have held it for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working on motor vehicles.
  • Be trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 standards or the manufacturer equivalent level.
  • Have a basic understanding of EV vehicles, with training provided.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to learn, read, and analyze data.
  • Utilize own initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively.
  • Be able to adapt to new systems and apply knowledge through practical application.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of departmental demands.
  • Utilize strong time management and organizational skills to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
