You will also support Apprentice Technicians as required and work on Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties if qualified. You will receive full manufacturer training, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive regular training at Volvo's training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology. We welcome applications from candidates of any background who have relevant repair, maintenance, and servicing vehicles experience, including those from other industries who have transferable skills and competencies. If you can demonstrate good mechanical and electrical competencies with an ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, we have the training and facilities to help you make the next big step in your career. You will have flexible working to suit you and your lifestyle, with weekends on a rota basis (Saturdays and overtime paid at time+1/2). You will also have access to life assurance and pension scheme, bonus schemes, and full manufacturers training provided. We are looking for someone with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (required, but level 2 will be considered), full UK Driving licence, and MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. You will be part of a team that aspires to work with a brand pioneering vehicle technology and be a leader in safety. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workshop technology.
