Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to support our project teams in the Central Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the evaluation of project time, cost, and quality targets, as well as communicating and monitoring project governance controls to ensure successful delivery of the Client Programme.
About the role:
- Establish contractor requirements through early supply chain engagement to support time, cost, and quality targets for the programme of works and monthly business reporting.
- Work closely with the Head of Project Controls to improve operating policies and mitigate risk throughout the Client programme.
- Provide specialist advice and technical knowledge to respond to delays, issues, and other challenges throughout the project.
- Manage periodic correlation of schedule, cost, quality, and risk to drive expedient project delivery.
- Coordinate business reporting, taking ownership for its quality and robustness, and providing periodic project progress updates to stakeholders as required.
About You:
- Experience within a Project Management or Project Control role on infrastructure or construction projects, preferably with a formal professional Project Management qualification.
- Knowledge of energy, transport, construction, or major infrastructure projects, and of the context surrounding the client and the consultation process.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and information flow in a matrix environment, and a willingness to work across business areas and provide specialist advice as required.
- Possessing attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with public sector policies, processes, and procedures, and associated political impacts.
- Commitment to promoting and embedding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in all work and supporting organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI.
