Job Overview

As a key member of the kitchen team at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a major part of the team's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, food service equipment.
  • Ensure that floors, walls, bins, crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes, fridges & freezers, and delivery areas are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.
  • Be aware of and adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking.
  • Report all accidents and near misses to the Chef.
  • Report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.
  • Basic food-handling skills.
  • Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • No previous work experience required.
