About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior MES Consultant to join our team in Warrington. As a key member of our automotive team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for greenfield automotive projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define MES architecture and select/configure MES solutions
  • Integrate MES with other enterprise systems and oversee system deployment and validation
  • Develop and execute project plans, manage project resources, and ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) with deep understanding of supply chain, production, and material planning within the automotive industry
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MOM/MES programs, including assessment, blueprinting, fit-gap assessment, solution design, configurations
  • Hands-on experience with standard MES products or bespoke MES solutions
  • Comprehensive MES implementation experience, encompassing the entire process from material receipt
  • Proficient in Machine Integration within MES processes
  • Fundamental knowledge of PLCs
  • Knowledge of the Automotive or Manufacturing domain is essential
