Job Title: Senior Buyer Groundworks and Civil Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Buyer to join our team, responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the construction industry and a strong track record of successful negotiations and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company goals.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
  3. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  4. Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within budget.
  5. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  6. Provide accurate and timely reports on procurement activities and budget status.
  7. Mentor and support junior buyers and procurement staff.
  8. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer within the construction industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, services, and supply chain management.
  3. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
