Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our dynamic team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have competencies equivalent to ST5 level and will work on the Registrar rota with daytime and resident on-call commitments.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will be responsible for developing specialist knowledge and skills in managing women with urogynaecology conditions. They will also be expected to integrate into our research and training projects, becoming proficient in urodynamics and managing all urogynaecology conditions.

Working for Our Organisation

As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will become surgically proficient in the majority of vaginal prolapse surgery and experienced in incontinence surgery. You will work in a busy acute gynae service and elective gynaecology department, providing a high-quality service for our patients in line with the Trust philosophy of delivering patient care that is Safe, Caring, Responsible, and Valued.

Person Specification

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Full GMC Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Part 1 MRCOG

Desirable Criteria

  • Part 2&3 MRCOG
  • Four years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK or equivalent
  • Post-CCT
  • Experience as ST5 and above

Management Skills

  • Computer literacy- word excel and able to use Electronic patient records

Training, Audit and Research

  • Evidence of participation in Clinical audit projects
