We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a General Assistant at Rosemary Lodge Care Home. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our kitchens, housekeeping, and laundry functions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the expected standards are achieved throughout the home
- Covering domestic, kitchen, and laundry duties, with training provided in all three areas
- Identifying and reporting any damage, faults, or other issues to maintenance or management
- Adhering to the cleaning and auditing schedule
- Using and storing cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations
- Undertaking any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant work experience in a care home or healthcare environment
- Previous experience gained in a domestic, laundry, or kitchen environment
- To be numerate and literate with a good standard of English
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety, Fire, and Security Regulations
