Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Royal Brompton Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver the daily workload in Patient Services, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
- Assist in managing the daily workload for Patient Services, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Work in the dispensary as an accredited checking pharmacy technician (ACPT), ensuring the accuracy and quality of dispensed medications.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or soon to register.
- Experience of relevant hospital pharmacy work, with a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and protocols.
- Hold the ACPT qualification and be committed to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
