About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Capita as an Estate Operations Manager, where you will play a key role in managing the estate's projects and capital program management across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage local health and safety systems within the cluster, ensuring compliance with Trust-wide Health and Safety procedures.
  • Manage and liaise with stakeholders regarding the estate's projects and capital program management, including Green plan initiatives.
  • Lead and advise on the engineering, mechanical, and electrical aspects of the capital program, working with Hard FM services providers and specialist partners.
  • Manage and liaise with 3rd party contractors and Landlord providers regarding estates management of all CLCH sites.
  • Oversee and ensure that hard and soft FM provision, including waste, site systems, food, and catering suppliers, meet quality and service standards.
  • Monitor site systems, including CCTV, FM services, BMS, energy systems, telephones, and alarms, to ensure they are maintained.

Requirements

  • Professional knowledge acquired through a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of implementing policies and practices across specialist areas, impacting other departments.
  • Experience of recruitment, day-to-day staff management, including performance management.
  • Experience of budget management and payments signatory, managing contractors and payment procedures.
  • Experience of risk management and change management.
  • Experience of planning and prioritizing maintenance activities and projects, including liaison with colleagues, contractors, and specialist agencies.
