Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Leader to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective clinical and holistic individualized family-centered care to patients and families
- Maintain evidenced-based practice and update own knowledge and skills in line with Trust policies and NMC Code
- Develop leadership skills and actively participate in service development
- Take charge and run the ward on a shift-by-shift basis, supporting the ward manager to deliver a well-led unit
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Assessment and discharge skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and non-verbal
- Leadership/mentorship and teaching skills
- Previous experience of audits, investigations, and governance
- Previous surgical nursing experience
